Well, here it is Thursday morning. The first bit of Eyes has had its week at critters, and I have gotten one crit.
One crit on the first two chapters doesn't really feel like enough to work with, so I'm not quite sure what my next step should be. If I go to my other sources begging first pass crits, where will I get the revision doublecheck and final polish type crits?
I also appear to be brain dead again.
Before the crash I made good progress on the LITGA site, though. I've got the rating submission stuff put together, but I need to make some icons so I can complete the rating display code, and I need to get back to everyone asking what else they wanted to be able to rate besides cheerfulness and humor, so I can add it in.
I also got the entire interior of the nose portion of the Celestial class ships modeled for Black Flag. Five sets! Now I need to get the space armor done. (A prospect I am finding rather intimidating. Joint rigging. A new technical specialty for me to just casually pick up in order to fulfill the demands of the story. Why do I let my stories bully me like this?)
But I've clearly been working in spurts again. That's bad. The days when the work gets done I get excited, and happy, and do too much, and then I have all these long awful recovery days to survive afterward. Overall amount of completed work goes down. I know that. Must. Excersize. Self-control. (I have some of that around here somewhere, don't I? I hope.)
