Last week the flower of the hour was Marsh Marigold. The biggest most beautiful blossoms were at Sieventhaler Fen, but down in The Narrows although the plants were smaller they completely carpeted the river valley so that the all trees were growing up out of a sea of yellow.
With writing, I am continuing to work on the screenplay of Lily Besieged, (a story set in the past of Across a Jade Sea.) If I can maintain this pace I should be finished sometime around the beginning of August. That is still a pretty big chunk of the year to dedicate to something that has no immediate publication potential. 🙁 Maybe I can convince myself to switch to another project at the 3/4 mark. That would be the break point between volumes if I ever “novelize” the story.
I also managed to fit in some art and music this past week, although I continue to mostly not have a voice. Yesterday I resorted to doing music time on my alto recorder, since unlike my concertina, I can play it lying down.
For the Week… Writing: 5303 words Coding: 4.5 hours Art: 2.5 hours Music: 2 hours Pedometer: 31 407 steps
