This week's cat vacuuming excersise (I got the agent queries off and wanted to work on something 100% useless), was to work up the code for a generic daily Coral Palace style horoscope.

The next step is to cross that with the birthsign information to get a truly personalized horoscope, but it will have to wait until I'm in the mood again.
It occurred to me earlier today that I am doing now with my art related projects what I did as a teen with my writing projects. Starting a new one when I conceive of it, and then as the load of projects gets to high abandoning the old ones. Did I or did I not stop working on the Viashi Card deck, and where is the Chaos Circle stuff sitting? I don't think I want to go back to the Viashi deck yet, but I'm seriously looking at trying to get back to work on Chaos Circle despite the draw of the Black Flag material. I did come up with Chaos Circle first after all, and its a lot shorter. And there's the work I'm supposed to be doing for Boyd's copy of Cantata too. The writing part of my life is so uncomplicated in comparison.
I think I may need to create an art queue just like my writing queue, and institute a “must finish one project before starting the next” rule.
But with writing that rule only applies to novels — I allow myself as many shorts as I want. What, I am wondering, is the art equivalent of a short story? Compared to Black Flag, every other project I've ever contemplated is short. Maybe a Black Flag and any *one* other project rule?
