For the first time in over a year, I have verifiably completed my weekly wordage goal.
It may not actually have really been a year, though, because I do have 73 handwritten pages stashed in my night-stand, so who knows? But according to my official records, the last time I officially worked on the story I am officially supposed to be writing next was October of 2017. My health has been going up and down since then (mostly down), and I haven’t been able to do much of anything that resembles real work.
Needless to say, I am very, very happy to be back in the harness, so to speak, and I want to keep at it for as long as I can.
But this does mean that I am not currently working on the four books I was supposedly prepping for publication. Sorry! I will get back to them as soon as I can. But if I don’t do the actual story-writing part of writing for too long a span of time I start suffering from withdrawal symptoms, and my husband gets worried.
