The Brotherhood of the Black Flag is a society of pirates... trapped in the depths of space by their loyaties to each other, and the need to keep the technology that allows them to prey on interstellar shipping secret. The romance and adventures of this band of swashbucklers, revolutionaries and thieves will be told in a series of graphic novels, posted online in a webcomic format.
Flag in Flames (the first volume in the series) deals with the fragmentation and internal struggles suffered by the Black Flag when the desires of some of the strongest and most ruthless men in the brotherhood become focused on Bonnie Anne Talon, daughter to the charming, but very formitable captain of the pirate ship Penzance. Born into the brotherhood, Bonnie Anne is a scrapper -- hot-headed, couragous, and not one to shrink from any challenge: whether it's holding together a feuding crew, or figuring out which of the flamboyant and dangerous men surrounding her she can trust.
Flag in Flames will be posted after it's completion, on a regular (probably bi-weekly) schedule, with the anticipated release date of January 2012. The second story, Blood Price has a completed script, and production will begin on it as soon soon as production of Flag in Flames is finished. Concepts for seven other graphic novels are in various stages of devellopment.
