I made goofs. Lost the thread of the Castaway's Lullaby accompaniment, couldn't get through the Google-Eyed Alien accompaniment, slipped on some words.
But so did some of the BIG NAME FILKERS, so it didn't really phase me much, I just kept going, and the audience I had seemed to be enjoying themselves, and that's what counts.
I spent some time chatting with Cat Faber afterwards, which was a lot of fun. (My kids were jealous until I told them that she said she might come sing for kids programming at OVFF, and then they skipped around the room cheering.)
The kinderfilk session also went well, I think. I only had the kids I had (six or seven) but they didn't look too bored, and that's what counts.
