I spent the day before Christmas (and most of the day before that as well) playing Blood Bowl, and updating our Blood Bowl league’s website (Blood Bowl is a boardgame very loosely based on American Football/Rugby — yes, I know those two aren’t the same thing, but I said *loosely* based — where the teams are made up of elves, goblins, ogres and so forth.)
Maybe this makes more sense as a choice of Christmas Eve activity, when you know that the other members of the league are my two sons, and two of my daughters?
I did do some carol singing too. It’s rare for me to miss an opportunity to sing. 🙂
But now the children are nestled, and the stockings are stuffed, and I need to go to bed — Christmas is one holiday I definitely don’t get to sleep in on.
Happy Holidays, everyone!
